Leprechaun Hijinx

Leprechaun Hijinx

The Problem!

I got into class, and guess what? A dirty leprechaun went nuts, grabbed my computer, and broke it. You can’t make this stuff up, I swear! So the first thing I did was…

1. Identify The Problem

The computer didn’t turn on, and it wasn’t plugged in.

2. What Has Changed

The first thing I noticed was that the computer was on its side and not plugged in.

3. My Theory!!

I wasn’t here, and I don’t want to blame anyone, but I think it was the leprechaun who partied way too hard last night. So my theory is that he definitely messed with my computer and didn’t even put the side panel back on properly.

4. If There Is a Will, There Is a Way

We must fix the problem! The first thing I tried was just plugging it in and seeing if it worked.

After I did that and tried to turn the computer on, it blinked red three times. Normally, that is not good, but those lights usually indicate what the problem is. Now, I didn’t have a phone to Google what it meant, so I did the next best thing—I unplugged it, opened it up, and found…

I found the RAM unclicked, the M.2 drives rattling around, and the 4-pin CPU connector unplugged.

5. The Fix

So, I plugged everything back in, got it all back together, and guess what? You won’t believe this! It worked!

6. Verify The Fix

I logged in, and now I am typing this up. Therefore, I think it works, and I am very happy—I can watch funny cat videos instead of doing my work!
